Awards Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross

Heinrich Brücker (5 May 1913 – 14 June 1984) was a highly decorated Hauptmann in the Luftwaffe during World War II, and a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Heinrich Brücker joined the Bundeswehr in the late 1950s and retired in 1971 as an Oberst.
